Kayak and camp in the Padre Ramos Estuary & Nature Reserve to experience the best of the nature and culture on the Pacific North Coast. We offer Multi-Day Camping or Cabana Tours (2-5 days, 1-4 nights) so you can explore the nooks and crannies of this 22,000 acre mangrove reserve.
The estuary’s wildlife is remarkable, with more than 200 types of resident and migratory birds, 3 species of sea turtles, and enough fish, butterflies, shrimp, mangroves, mudflats, and intertidal life to keep you captivated for days. Hike the beach or mudflats, rent a surfboard, or hammock with a good book. Try your hand at fishing or make tortillas. At night, fishing bats and bioluminescent seas will enchant us to sleep.
